The Backstory

Welcome! I’m Cindy Joseph, founder, consultant and coach at The Cee Suite. As a recruiting and diversity & inclusion manager, the core of my career has been finding and developing talent.

For nearly two decades, I worked on human resources teams at Goldman Sachs and Accenture and loved my work – ultimately, I got to help people start their dream jobs and navigate all aspects of corporate life.

Driven by my strong, personal connection to talent development, mentorship, diversity and inclusion, I passionately used my platforms to transform teams and support the career development of others.

Over time, I recognized there was a greater opportunity to share my expertise to support organizations in varying stages of their own talent management and diversity & inclusion journeys

In 2017, I left the corporate world to do just that! As the founder and Managing Partner of The Cee Suite, I work with organizations to solve their talent challenges and coach professionals to achieve their career goals.

Since I founded The Cee Suite, we have grown to a team of 5 talent management professionals who bring a vast array of experiences.

Cindy Joseph, Founder and Managing Partner

At Work: Cindy advises clients across a range of People objectives, with a particular focus on workplace diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. In addition to deep industry experience within Financial Services, Consulting and Technology, Cindy has also supported organizations in the media, sales, education and non-profit sectors.

Cindy is a graduate of Howard University, where she earned a degree in Psychology. She is also a Certified Professional Diversity Coach through Coach Diversity Institute, an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited organization.

Off Duty: Besides work, travel is Cindy’s biggest passion. She has visited 6 continents, nearly 40 countries and over 100 cities worldwide, but who’s counting?


Monisha Nag, Talent Associate

At Work: Monisha has been helping Fortune 500 organizations build talent strategies for over a decade. As a talent management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Mercer, and Aon, she worked with clients in the areas of organizational development, performance management, workforce planning, organizational design, diversity & inclusion, and people analytics.

Monisha’s passion is helping organizations develop HR programs to attract, hire, develop, and retain critical talent. Her core areas of competency include:

  • Organizational development & performance management

  • Workforce planning & organization design

  • Diversity & inclusion

  • People analytics

Monisha has an MBA from the University of Houston and a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland.

Off Duty: Monisha enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking. She has explored several trails in the US and around the world.


Petal Pennycooke, Talent Associate

At Work: Petalgay “Petal” is a seasoned entrepreneur, a former LinkedIn Local Tampa founding co-host, Executive Right Hand Podcast host, and founder of Executive Right Hand, Inc., a company that delivered provisional support for C-level executives in career transition.

Petal has a passion for developing and coaching leaders and has worked in the talent management and development space at companies such as AT&T and The Home Depot. She has also extensive experience in the upscale retail and financial services industries.  

A graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership & Learning from The George Washington University.   

Off Duty: A proud mother of seven, and grandmother of ten, Petal has learned the art of harnessing change and resistance in order to fuel forward movement.


Nikol Toussaint, Talent Associate

At Work: Nikol Toussaint has spent the bulk of her career supporting entrepreneurial and small-to-medium sized organizations experiencing rapid growth. She brings both strategic and tactical experience in most areas of human resources development, giving her a keen ability to align people and talent strategies with business objectives. 

Nikol has built foundations for geographically-dispersed organizations with undeveloped talent functions. She has worked with several NGOs and private equity-backed organizations and has held senior leadership positions in human resources, with a specialty in learning and organizational development.

Nikol’s core competencies include:

  • Organizational effectiveness, design, and development

  • Coaching and leadership development

  • Executive search

  • Mediation and conflict resolution

  • Instructional design

Nikol has a Master’s degree in Marketing and Nonprofit Management from the University of Tampa and an MBA in Human Resources from The University of Phoenix.

Melissa Velez, Talent Associate

At Work: After many years in the non-profit space, Melissa launched her career in Human Resources at Macy’s over eight years ago. She has a passion for talent development, leadership training, coaching for success and influencing a culture of inclusion. Today, Melissa is an HR Executive with a diverse set of experiences, including several roles in talent management, learning & development, and benefits administration. Leading Macy's Executive Development Training Program to success was one of her proudest career achievements.

Melissa's core competencies include:

  • Employee coaching

Melissa is a graduate from Baruch College with a Bachelor's degree in Communications.

Off Duty: Aside from the joys of traveling with her husband and daughter, Melissa enjoys singing karaoke and dancing every chance she gets.
