Meet Kyle

Kyle Whitaker (he/him)
Coach & Facilitator

Throughout his career in education, Kyle has leveraged his skills as a dialogue facilitator to help students, faculty, and staff explore issues of power, privilege, and inequality. From fostering cross-cultural understanding between youth in Malaysia and the U.S. to helping higher education administrators implement antiracist pedagogy, Kyle grounds his approach in empathy and a deep appreciation for participants' lived experiences. His background in curriculum design and developmental psychology helps him craft learning experiences that both challenge and support participants as they grow in their understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Kyle holds a B.A. in English from Elon University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of Maryland. He currently works at EAB, a higher education research and technology firm in Washington, D.C. When not at work, Kyle enjoys going on runs in one of D.C.'s many parks, singing with a local semi-professional choir, and reading whatever books he can get his hands on.
