Meet Jackson

Dr. Jackson Miller (he/him)
Consultant, Coach & Facilitator

Dr. Jackson Miller has more than 20 years of experience teaching, facilitating, and leading training on communication, marginalization, and social justice issues. Jackson has worked with community and professional organizations in a variety of roles, including facilitating sexual assault prevention programs for sailors and Marines with the U.S. Department of the Navy, offering debate courses for a diverse and underserved population of adults in custody at the Oregon State Penitentiary, and leading communication workshops for educators and community volunteers throughout China and Latin America.

Jackson has expertise in public speaking, nonverbal communication, and interactive theater techniques, and he uses experiential approaches to foster meaningful dialogues about diversity, equity, and inclusion. He has served in several higher education leadership positions during the past 15 years. Jackson has an M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication from Ohio University and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
