Dr. Jamila Cordrington (she/her)
Psychologist

Dr. Jamila Codrington is a New York state licensed psychologist committed to serving individuals, families, communities, and organizations with a culturally grounded, trauma informed, and social justice framework. She has nearly 20 years of experience assisting people and institutions on their journey of transformation. Through psychotherapy, clinical supervision, training, workshops, community forums, and consultation, Dr. Jamila inspires, educates, transforms, and empowers.

Dr. Jamila is the founder and CEO of Asili Services, Inc., which provides strength-based and culturally-relevant therapeutic, educational, and consultation services and empowers communities by raising awareness of the intersection between mental health and social justice. She maintains a private practice in Brooklyn, NY and is also a clinical supervisor at Astor Services for Children and Families and an Adjunct Professor at New York Theological Seminary. Dr. Codrington has published numerous articles and book chapters within the mental health and social justice field, and served as Past President of the New York Association of Black Psychologists.
