Modernizing Talent & Performance Culture: A 5-Year Partnership

THE CHALLENGE

A global entertainment company needed to modernize its legacy HR processes to support a changing workforce. The organization needed to adopt a dynamic performance and talent management model that helped people grow and kept global teams connected. This comprehensive refresh included redesigning performance management systems, succession planning, recruiting workflows, and other key ‘People’ practices.

ACTION

Partnering directly with the SVP of People & Culture, we first assessed existing policies and procedures to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunity areas. After presenting recommendations for a roadmap, we designed their new talent strategy through a hands-on, deeply embedded approach:

  • Audit & Redesign: We ditched the outdated forms and built a new framework centered on continuous feedback, talent reviews, and internal career paths. We also redesigned their recruiting and onboarding practices.

  • Leadership Advisory: We provided executive advisory and custom sessions to help the C-Suite modernize their organizational culture.

  • Global Offsite Facilitation: We designed and led a global HR retreat to get international leaders on the same page regarding priorities and shared goals.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

  • A modernized performance management framework and a comprehensive Recruiting & Onboarding Toolkit for hiring managers.

  • More than 100 training sessions across the organization, covering everything from interviewer skills and impactful mentoring skills to addressing bias and practicing allyship.

  • A custom management development program, a 3-part series covering "Creating Leadership," "Engaging Conversations," and "Empowering Your Team through Accountability". We facilitated a train-the-trainer program and delivered all materials (slides, handouts, and facilitator guides).

THE IMPACT

  • Successfully launched new programs and practices for performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, continuous feedback, recruiting, and onboarding.

  • Upskilled hundreds of managers and individual contributors through high-impact workshops designed to increase self-awareness, psychological safety, and team accountability.
