THE OPPORTUNITY

An international finance firm needed to align its US-based inclusion and diversity strategy to better reflect a changing social landscape. While the firm had a global roadmap, the US committee needed a partner to help them revise their specific priorities for 2025 and beyond while ensuring they remained aligned with their company-wide goals and values.

OUR PROCESS

We acted as the strategic bridge between global expectations and local execution. Our approach focused on high-level alignment and actionable planning:

  • We met with the US HR Lead and their international counterparts in Europe to understand the firm’s global objectives and how the US strategy could best support them.

  • We reviewed the firm’s existing EU and US roadmaps and designed a high-impact strategy session tailored to the committee’s unique needs.

  • We led a half-day intensive session with the US I&D committee to brainstorm a new 2030 vision and prioritize the "jobs to be done" for the next 1–2 years.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

  • A 2030 US Strategy Vision focused on high performance and authentic culture.

  • Three strategic pillars to guide talent practices, culture, and communication.

  • A 2025 Strategic Roadmap featuring nine high-priority goals with defined owners and deadlines.

  • A KPI Framework to track progress across intern pipelines, mentorship participation, and employee sentiment.

THE IMPACT

  • Unified Direction: Reached a committee-level consensus on a new long-term vision, ensuring the US team was moving in lockstep with global goals.

  • Operational Clarity: Moved the committee from broad ideas to nine specific, measurable goals with clear accountability.

  • Targeted Growth: Established a clear plan to improve representation at senior levels and enhance the firm’s brand as an employer of choice.
