Bias is part of our everyday lives. While they may help us to navigate the world, they also account for error in our thinking and decision-making. The results can be significant within and outside of the workplace.
This course examines the origins of our biases and their impact on the workplace. Through the introduction of core concepts and frameworks, self-reflection, and group discussions, participants explore actionable strategies and practical workplace scenarios to address bias and champion inclusion and belonging.

Cultivating Psychological Safety
Psychological safety is critical to the success of a team. In fact, according to studies, it is among the top factors in developing and maintaining high-performing teams. It’s the sentiment that allows each person to fully contribute and challenge the status quo when difficulties or risks surface. Psychological safety is a foundational need for collaboration, productivity, stronger relationships, and ultimately, business outcomes.
This course examines the conditions needed to cultivate psychological safety, including an appreciation for emotional intelligence and an understanding of the roles that identity and power play in our workplaces. Practicing Authentic Allyship and Bystander Skills
Many of us want to show up and advocate for marginalized communities. With various challenges to address and innumerable recommendations for getting involved, understanding how and where to practice allyship can be overwhelming.
This workshop examines the need for allyship within and outside of our workplaces and helps participants explore how courageous actions can take place in environments where people may come to issues with different lived experiences and perspectives. Through the introduction of core concepts and facilitated group discussions and exercises, participants learn ways to show solidarity with other communities and opportunities to take meaningful action. We also support participants with practicing bystander intervention skills, empowering them to address harmful behaviors and create a safer and more inclusive workplace.
